The regional chambers of industry and commerce represent the collective interests of their members vis-à-vis municipalities, state governments, political actors and the wider public. The goal of all activities is to promote the regional business economy across all industries.
As the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Leipzig, we see ourselves as both a service provider and an advocate for all member companies and their sectors- balanced, impartial and committed to fair representation. This makes us an important voice for the region’s small and medium-sized enterprises. Mandatory membership ensures our objectivity toward all members.
We represent around 67,000 member companies, with approximately 350 entrepreneurs serving on our committees to represent their region and industry. In addition, more than 1,800 voluntary examiners support our work.
